「Tamar is a lovely and kind host. We had a great stay, the room and dining room are both beautifully built and furnished, everything we needed, nice breakfast too. 「Lovely overnight winter stay. Hotel and rooms are spotless. Comfy bed with quality bedding, everything felt of good quality. Excellent shower and modern bathroom. We chose the Black Lion as we prefer to stay and eat in establishments that do not allow dogs and there aren't many now ( I know some people would disagree and want to take their dogs everywhere but we all need a place we can feel comfortable in and every other venue in town seems to accept dogs now so dog owners have plenty of...

「The host was friendly helpful and I had an enjoyable stay. Welsh breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit away from the castle but 10 mins walk from pubs and restaurants so it is quiet at night. Host was helpful in trying to get me a taxi for Sunday which was a bit of a chaos. If I pass by there that would be the place I stay.」

「Warm welcome from Rob and Sherrie, lovely chilled atmosphere. Room was lovely, had all you could want. Bed comfortable, slept well. Breakfast was delicious, sausage and bacon was truly tasty. Access via track, very deep holes in a couple of places, but this wouldn’t stop us and would recommend, great location for Welsh Botanic Garden. 」
