I had a really good stay at Ashana Uluwatu, especially considering how affordable the price was. The location is one of the biggest positives — it’s very central to Uluwatu, with most of the main beaches and attractions being around 5–15 minutes away, which made getting around really convenient. The pool is on the smaller side, but it gets a lot of sun throughout the day, so the water stays warm, even into the evening. I also rarely saw anyone using it, so it was nice and quiet whenever I wanted to use it. The room itself was good. The double bed was quite large, and there was a decent amount of shelving/storage space. The AC worked well throughout the entire stay, and having a TV in the room was also a nice bonus. The only real issue we experienced was with insects and ants in the bathroom, particularly when there was garbage in the room. Since the hotel is close to the beach and surrounded by nature, this wasn’t too surprising, but we eventually started throwing the garbage outside the room to avoid attracting ants. Overall, the staff were all very friendly and helpful, and I had no major complaints during my stay. For the price and location, I think Ashana Uluwatu is a really solid option if you’re staying in Uluwatu.

The property is located in such a great location. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. The bathroom is a little old and the shower needs work. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. It was a great price and great location!

We had an excellent stay at Ashana. It’s in a great location and has an amazing restaurant next to the hotel. The property condition is very run down. The bathroom had a leaky tap and the shower had next to no water pressure with no hot water. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

Staff were friendly, and room itself was decent however the washroom (plumbing/sewer system) has a terrible smell which isn't uncommon around the area but it is not great. Convient location however.

The staff is nice, the location is really good, the room is big and spacious. I loved the pool area and my own little yard. It was clean, green and there were beautiful flowers too. AC was a bit lazy and the shower could have been better, it was so lazy. But overall good value for money.

Super service

The location is great, and the bed was really comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay. The pool area was a highlight—perfect for relaxing. However, the bathroom could use some attention, as there was a bit of a smell, and the door was difficult to open and close due to being broken. Additionally, there was a small leak in the faucet. With a few minor fixes, this place would be even better.
