There are not nearly enough shade umbrellas at the pool. Many guests were forced to stay in the sun. Food was good but very expensive.

Very beautiful property! The landscaping is gorgeous. The architecture is stunning and the ambience is serene. A few steps to the beach from the pool. Lovely comfortable loungers and umbrellas at the beach and the at the pool. Never too busy. Just the right amount of guests. Comfortable updated rooms and five star service. The dining options from the canoe house to halali to the convenience store had really delicious food. Best food we had on the island. Couldn’t say more. Our 8 year old had a wonderful time. Can’t wait to come back soon.

"The views from the hotel were outstanding. We faced Hilo Bay and loved the beauty of the property. I am diabetic so I would have preferred a breakfast that included some protein.
