Iris and Rafi are fantastic hosts and their gorgeous house is set in a beautiful part of the world. Breakfast is amazing and I can gladly recommend their Bed and Breakfast to anyone visiting the area.

Charming!

Charming B&B in a beautiful historic house in sweet Long Valley, NJ. The owners couldn’t be more accommodating and friendly. The rooms are comfy and very nice. This part of New Jersey is lovely, go there!

The house is truly beautiful, carefully maintained and tastefully decorated in the heart of stunning nature. If the weather is nice, taking a walk around in the morning is a wonderful experience. The hosts are also very kind and welcoming. I highly recommend it to everyone.

My husband and I stayed 3 nights at The Neighbor House and were very happy we chose this B&B. The inn is very charming and our room was a good size, nicely appointed, and very clean. Our host was very welcoming, cheerful, and friendly. We would definitely stay here again if in the area!

A very beautiful place to stay! Iris and Rafi are very inviting and very kind. Our room and shared bathroom was very clean and we felt at home. There is a lot to do in the area, offering a beautiful country setting. We will stay again when in the NJ area.

Welcoming and comfortable

Raffi was very friendly and welcoming. He made us feel right at home immediately. We enjoyed our brief stay while visiting family in the area. The room and home were very comfortable. We would stay here again.

A very well maintained and decorated early American country farmhouse. It is located in a quiet area with many historic places within a reasonable drive. There is a nearby hike-bike trail and a river for fly fishing. Check-in was smooth and easy; there is a nice breakfast available; and owners were wonderful to talk with.

What a pleasant stay! Our first bed and breakfast experience and it was amazing! The house was vintage with amazing views. Peace, Quiet, clean, friendly host! Love the history of the house as well!! The restaurants is a 1/2 mile down the road great food and atmosphere!! 10 out of 10!!

Wonder Stay

Wonderful stay at The Neighbor House. The location is lovely. The owners were warm and welcoming and shared information about the history of the house and surroundings as well as making helpful suggestions for things to do during our stay. The beds were very comfortable. The Continental breakfast was good. The location is just a short distance away from the charming town of Chester, NJ. We’ll be back!

Seated in the middle of Jersey horse country, it was a stunning spot for fall foliage, an added bonus for a trip for family reasons. The ONLY thing I would have wished for was cooked breakfast, but there were truly plenty of options other than that, including eggs--just hard boiled. Fresh fruit, good coffee, yogurt, cereal, bread for toast, and packaged pastries offered a plentiful meal!

We are so Happy we stayed at The Neighbor House. It was a beautiful 200 year old home, set in a lovely farmland in upper New Jersey. The interior was amazing, with so many antiques and historic objects that we were fascinated everywhere we looked. Best of all were the owners who were pleasant, intelligent and who made us feel welcome from the moment we first met. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Charming Getaway

The 2 nights we spent at The Neighbor House were great. It’s a very well maintained home and the hosts were very friendly and attentive. We really enjoyed being so close to the Colombia Trail so we could easily ride our bikes to several of the surrounding towns. Overall The Neighbor House is charming, the hosts were so nice and we started each day off with a delicious breakfast spread. If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway where you can explore cute downtown areas or enjoy hiking or biking then you should definitely check this place out. Thank you Iris and Rafe!
