"Hotel Villa Neroli is simply an oasis in Florence, one of the best if not the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. If you’ve ever dreamed of staying in a luxurious villa in Italy, this is the place. The hotel, the grounds, the pool, all first class. The staff was excellence, dedicated to customer service and could not have been better. From the moment we got there, the staff treated us like family, very kind, caring, and accommodating. The staff at the bar was happy to refill our water bottles and this little touch meant so much to us. The included breakfast was delicious, nutritious, and convenient. The bed was very comfortable. I would not want to stay any other place in Florence. One thing to be aware of is that the Villa Neroli is a more suburban area, a 15-20 minute cab ride into the center of Florence, which is near the train station. It’s not a walk, so factor some cab rides into and back from the historic center of Florence with all of its restaurants and shops. To us, it was well worth the little extra time and money to stay at this gorgeous location."

"We were a couple who stayed the first night in a 3 single beds room, and the other three nights we were in a private room with a large bed. One issue is that there is only one singular outlet in the rooms. In the private room, we only had one free electrical outlet which was in the bathroom. We had to disconnect the TV in order to have any outlet in the bedroom. We really feel this is inadequate, especially in bedroom with more than two beds. On the day we left we found bugs under the bedside cube. I also had multiple bites on my leg, luckily they were not itchy so I don't know what they were. They were NOT bedbugs. There is no facility to iron at all, not a single iron on the whole property They staff was really friendly and helpful over all, even when faced with large groups who were waiting to check in they were very professional, kind and helpful, 5 starts for any staff interaction. We would definitely stay again but would really wish they would install more outlets and stay on top of ants/bugs. All towels and beddings were clean. We didn't eat from their restaurant or use the pool so we have no comments to share."

"We really enjoyed our stay here! The room was beautifully decorated with modern touches and has a welcoming feel. The shared common area was a great bonus, with an enclosed outdoor patio on ground level, an espresso machine, a snack basket refilled daily, and bottled drinking water available to refill your own bottle. There’s also a mini fridge stocked with drinks like wine, Coke, and juice, as well as a microwave, which was very convenient. The room has AC, making it comfortable even on warmer days. All in all, would recommend!"

"It took awhile for staff to find our reservation through Expedia, we weren’t sure if it even existed on their end.. It’s about an hour walk to the city center, but bus, bike, taxi options are available. The staff were rude when we struggled to buy smokes from the machine in reception (if you don’t have European ID, good luck!). Our porch light didn’t work in our glamp tent and it wasn’t the best quality but amenities make it worth it- shops, restaurant, pool/jacuzzi, laundry, etc., though it doesn’t seem the pool is open in early September."

"The hotel is a wonderful and unique experience. The staff service was amazing. Two things that could be improved. It would be great if the recharging technology for phones and other electronics was up to par. Ideally there should be USB outlets scattered throughout the rooms. And finally, I asked the front desk to order a taxi and then I realize the shuttle driver was leaving in three minutes and so when I went to cancel the Taxi, I was charged €20 because he was already on the way. There should be a way for the Hotel of this quality and importance to be able to negotiate with taxi drivers and cancel the service without payment by the customer. Anyhow, that is my feeling. Have a wonderful day."
