「The main hotel reception, restaurant, bar and pool were lovely. The rooms very nice and clean however the decking on the lodges was appalling and very dangerous. Nails sticking out, cracked and rotten boards. You felt like you were going to fall through. Also in the restaurant they don’t chill or cover the deli meets and cheese so they have flies all over them and and dangerous to eat sitting in the heat for hours. 「The service was great. We parked at the parking lot recommended by the hotel, and there was a free shuttle that took us to the hotel. We stayed in a separate room, which had a bit of a damp smell. The room was about a 5-minute walk from the reception and the breakfast/spa area — it took a few time to remember the route. But getting lost in Matera is also a kind of romance.」
