Stunning hotel in a beautiful location! Our room was very comfortable with a balcony overlooking the expansive gardens. The staff went above and beyond to look after us. Fab pool area, and recommend a massage and swim in the warm spa pool. Dinner was delicious and very good value, so much food! Breakfast ...

Breakfast was just ok. Eggs were not very tasty. A lot of bread to choose from if you like that. Could use some pancakes or french toast.

Loved the place. The history re the area, interesting. Very quiet. Staff even parked our car in free parking, road very very narrow. Very polite.

The rooms are scattered in an area that is a 5 minute walk to the heart of town for the farthest rooms. Best local food based on the hotel staff recommendations. The city is real. Working people, shoppers, school kids, dogs, all signs of a thriving real city!
The old town is rundown and in need of major renovation. A number of Italian seafood restaurants in the area. A highlight of our stop there was the military tour of the castle.
Surprisingly interesting town, the Museum is exceptional, everyone should go and visit Taranto for the Museum and to tour the Castle. Also had the best seafood and gelato in Taranto :-)
