「Property was hard to find in the dark a bigger lighted sign would help. Parking is tight if a person with a large truck parks beside you. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Bed was comfy. I will go back if I need a port in a storm again 」

「Returned 40 years later from our 1st stay, when it was in its original ocean front location, to this 2025 stay. Classic, historic, dedicated beach access, lovely grounds, lush landscaping and gardens, and a great vibe. Rocking chairs and porch swings harken back to the good ‘ol days. Wonderful breakfasts by Chef Georgia, with eclectic culinary creations. Just love this ‘old woodie’ hotel in the original classic OBX architectural style.」

「The room was clean and comfortable. It is located in a quiet area with only a 10 minute drive to the area. The pool was really nice. We stayed for a week and the card in the room said we would get room service halfway through our stay if we wanted it. We put the card out to service the room but they didn’t do it. 「We Love the Seahorse Cottage!! This was our second visit to OBX and our second stay here. We had the same cottage as last year and it was great! It has everything you need and is very comfortable. The staff are friendly & helpful. Walking distance to the pier & beach , Cahoons market, restaurants, etc. Thank you again Seahorse staff! 」
