Sehr schönes neueres Hotel gut gelegen nähe Messe Bern Es gibt nichts negatives ausser ( für mein Empfinden) die Parkgebühren sind viel zu hoch. 25.- wenn ich abends ankomme und nächsten Morgen wieder fahre dann sind die 25.- zu viel.

Vale muito a pena!
Excelente hotel! Equipe muito educada e prestativa! Deram várias dicas valiosas sobre a cidade! O quarto é enorme! Parece um apartamento! O estacionamento custa CHF25 por diária (muito caro), mas o recepcionista nos indicou um estacionamento público por CHF6 a diária nas proximidades do hotel (foi muito honesto). Sobre a localização, não fica no centro de Berna, mas é bem pertinho e o transporte público atende maravilhosamente bem!

Modern, gute Lage, aber mit Komplikationen
Grundsätzlich ein schönes Hotel, aber es gab da ein paar Komplikationen, betreffend dem late Check-in. Ich habe schriftlich ein paar Tage vor Ankunft informiert, dass wir später anreisen werden. Dies ist kein Problem wurde uns mitgeteilt, Die Zimmerkarte wird im Tresor deponiert und der Schlüsselcode wird am Anreisetag per eMail zugestellt. Soweit so gut. Als am Anreisetag gegen Abend noch keine Check-In Informationen mit Schlüsselcode zugestellt wurden, habe ich mich telefonisch mit der Rezeption in Verbindung gesetzt. Diese versicherte mir, dass Sie mir bis spätestens 23:30 eine E-Mail zukommen lassen, was leider nicht geschah. Daher musste ich nochmals anrufen und der Code wurde mir per Telefon durchgegeben. Da wir mit dem Auto angereist waren, sind wir natürlich direkt ins Parking runter. Es wäre sicherlich hilfreich, wenn man in der Tiefgarage darauf hinweisen würde, dass sich der Schlüsseltresor beim Haupteingang bei der Strasse befindet. Denn es gibt auch einen Weg mit dem Lift direkt zu den Zimmern. Zum Schluss hat doch noch alles geklappt. Zimmer sind modern eingerichtet und sauber.

Am Telefon hatte ich dir bereits mitgeteilt, dass es leichter ist, zuerst vor dem Hotel zu parkieren und anschliessend in die Tiefgarage zu fahren. Dies stand auch nochmal in der Mail.Es tut uns Leid, dass es zu den Komplikationen gekommen ist, weil diese Mail anscheinend nicht angekommen ist.Gerne kannst du uns sonst für zukünftige Besuche einmal per Mail schreiben, damit wir sicherstellen können, dass die Adresse richtig hinterlegt ist.Herzliche Grüsse

Harry’s home, Bern New hotel, opened last year I think, and everything still feels new. If you drive there is underground parking but I don’t know if it is chargeable…. you probably do have to pay. We travelled in from Zurich Airport by train and there is a train station (Ostimundigen) a few minutes walk from the hotel. Plus excellent bus connections to and from Bern - the bus stop is a couple minutes walk from the hotel. One day we travelled from Ostimundigen to Thun and then took a boat ride - amazing day around the lake. Staying at Harry’s Home also entitles you to a free travel pass around Bern - we used it often on train and bus. We hired one of the studio apartments. The view was not great but at least we were not looking at the bin area - maybe a rooftop garden would improve the view. We were impressed with the layout, decor and technology. Heating, blind control and light king were all controlled from a wall panel. The is ample storage and a safe in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the room spacious. We had a cooking area with a hob and microwave - it’ll be handy if you bring a washing up sponge, a small amount of washing up detergent for your stay and a cloth to wipe the area down. Plus there is a fridge. Pots, pans, plates, cutlery etc are all provided. As is a broom, dustpan and brush The is also a laundry / washing machine room and use of a steam iron in one of the service points. Again you’d need to bring clothes detergent and fabric condition

Nice Hotel with excellent location just steps from the train station. Nice benches to seat outside . If you are on the way to Young boys Bren match , this probably will be the perfect value for money. It was end of August, chilly outside, and they turned on the heat so n door was a bit hot . Expensive extras but overall good value for money.

The main unpleasant issue was the Aircondition. It was mentioned that there is an Aircondition. But unfortunately there were a sound of an Aircondition only. No cool air nor flow coming out. The ventilation of the room is very little. Only a snail window that can be opened, but unfortunately no airflow. I reserved 3 nights, but I stayed for one and I couldn’t continue for more. My advice is to provide fans at least. Thanks

Für einen Besuch in der Allmend liegt das Hotel grundsätzlich gut.Der Komfort ist aber absolut minimal und gleicht eher einer Herberge, als einem Hotel. Für einen spontanen Aufenthalt genügt das Hotel, für einen längeren Aufenthalt würden wir das Hotel nicht empfehlen.
