We stayed during the last week of expo so not many options - saw this had decent reviews so went for it. Of all the hotels we stayed in during our trip this was the least pleasant. Cleanliness - went to plug the drain in the sink, and my hand hit a giant ball of phlegm from the previous guest. I almost lost my lunch. The carpet in the room was so dirty we didn’t walk around without slippers on, and there was hair everywhere, including bundled into the folded towels. The hallway walls were very dirty, nothing a quick wipe-down wouldn’t fix. Overall not a comfortable stay from a cleanliness perspective. HVAC switched from hot to cold throughout the night and blows directly on your face, despite following the posted instructions to prevent this issue. The vent also was really dirty, so blowing dirty air on you while you sleep. The window in the room was frosted, so it felt like we were in a dungeon. Free laundry though, if that’s something you need on your trip.

I was expecting a clean hotel per Japanese standards but In our room 502, the wall had stains. This could easily be wiped but I was surprised to see so many stains. The toilet base needs some cleaning. The carpet on the 5th floor near the elevator had a big stain. The staff though is friendly and nice.
