"I was pleasantly surprised by this property. Was absolutely gorgeous and the price was so incredibly reasonable. They served a buffet breakfast the next morning; the rooms were clean and welcoming and the hotel staff was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. I don’t think I would ever stay anywhere else besides here if we were ever to return."

"We loved spending a few days in Ortigia at the Algila' Charme Hotel. We had a room overlooking the ocean and the busy street outside the hotel entrance. AC was cranking, and the room stayed cool despite how hot it was. The staff were friendly and helpful. A simple breakfast buffet is available daily. They'll even make omelettes for those of us who prefer some protein in our breakfast. The location of the hotel is ideal—walking distance to everything on Ortigia—and the valet parking option is appreciated (since parking is very limited and driving is a hair-raising experience)."

"Well located in the center of beautiful Ortigia. Close to everything (Ortigia is small). Room was clean, bed is soft and comfortable, room is clean. Breakfast is ok. Staff is very helpful and communicative. Air conditioning works well."

"This is a lovely hotel. It is a short walk over the bridges to Ortigia to all of the lovely things to see on the island. The rooms are really spacious and comfortable with everything you need including a little kitchen space if you want to eat in (although there are so many lovely restaurants nearby). Nicole and Francesco where wonderful. We had helpful information from both of them about our arrival and also some fantastic recommendations for places to eat. The hotel was peaceful and cool in the heat. It was a great place to stay."
