「It's a beautiful hotel indeed, with a lot to offer: a historical embience, elegant decor, spacious rooms, convenient location (both Duomo & Fontana di Diana are within a 10-min walk), simple yet adequate breakfast.... But all these good qualities are offset by a lack of maintenance of its facilities (shower head that seems like breaking down and keeps leaking water from its handle, air conditioner that shuts itself down within 30 mins of operation...) . 「Very friendly and helpful receptions. The location is very convenient. We had an issue with the aircon late at night. I was told the next day that the aircon was fine that is was in sleep mode. As we stayed 1 night it didnt matter but definitely its not easy to use if thats the case. The bed light on/off is tricky but the hotel does explain to you during checkin. It was a nice laugh with the family trying to figure it out!!! 」

「The room was big enough for two people and they gave us two single beds as requested. the location of the hotel couldn't have been more convenient and the breakfast was real nice and they had quite a lot of choices. One thing that I like the most was the staffs, a women there helped us with everything we needed to travel around and extended the room one more night for us. The down sides were the communication within the staffs I guess as the young lady said if we wanted to extend one more night,...

「Very well located at Marina Gate, this family run B+B is ideal as a base for Ortigia. Breakfast is served on the delightful roof terrace, overlooking the gate and Marina. Rooms well appointed. Bathrooms a bit compact, but nice. Very friendly owner and staff make for an enjoyable stay. We prefer rooms 2, 3, and 4 (upstairs) if available. Will certainly use again. 」
