We had the best best time at the Sonesta Es Suites lake Buena Vista with all the amenities in the proximity of the hotel (pharmacy, restaurants, grocery stores and coffee shops etc.) The hotel provided everything that makes you feel like you're home away from home. Great staff and great location alltogether. Highly rexommend to anyone wanting a home away from home feeling. It was quiet and all the guests were so respectful of the noise levels and being mindful. Walking distance to wawa and dunkin doughnuts. Cant say enough good things. We celebrated my husbands special birthday and they had cookies for us at check-in. Little things that made us feel all the extra welcome.

This isn’t my first time staying here. The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are great. However, I booked in advance requesting a first floor suite because my son is in a wheelchair and my mother in law has a heart condition. I requested this because I know they do not have elevators at this hotel. So when I booked I request first floor and accessibility accommodations. I called two days prior to my stay and was told there is no way for them to guarantee a wheelchair accessible room on the first floor. We received a room on the second floor and we had to carry my son up and down the stairs along with his wheelchair.

Great location and spacious room with a separate living area, which made traveling with kids much easier. The rooms appear to have been “updated” cosmetically to look newer, but the bathroom and kitchen areas definitely need a full refresh. The appliances felt quite old and some parts of the unit looked very worn down. Cleaning was just okay. Daily housekeeping mainly removed the trash and replaced towels, but the bed wasn’t made and the bathroom and floors were not cleaned during our stay. That said, the staff did a thoughtful gesture for our child’s birthday by leaving cookies and a birthday poster in the room, which we appreciated. Overall, I was expecting a better experience given the location and overall setup of the property.
