「1) The hotel does not explicitly state that it does not have the means to receive online payments from its customers: this should be explicit and not leave the customer to discover this in the worst possible way. But the worst part is not allowing the cancellation of the reservation with a refund. THIS IS A TRAP.
2) The hotel takes a long time (beyond the check-in start time) to provide the room number. I myself witnessed other similar situations.
