「We had a nice stay, enjoyed the pool, views, balcony and breakfast for $12 was good. Really nice location with lots of choices for excellent restaurants within a mile radius. The hotel is a bit dated, frayed towels, bathroom needed maintenance and mirror needed a good cleaning. That said the Jr. suite had everything we needed for the week, so it worked for us.」

「The hotel is exceptional and the area where it is located is breathtaking. While you have to pay in order to use the geothermal pools anywhere else on the island, there are geothermal pools right here in the hotel for your use anytime of the day or night! The hotel leaves little treats and trinkets in your room for you throughout most of your stay, there are incredible tasting teas with cookies in the lobby area, and breakfast was divine! We highly recommend this hotel!」

「Beautiful building in great nestled location, within 10 minute walk to water. Onsite bar & restaurant was delicious & spacious. Staff didn’t really love the Americans, but great food/bev. Pool area outside was gorgeous & front desk staff was always so helpful. They have a huge spa on site too. And most rooms had balconies, which was great to sit outside & overlook pool/view. Glad we stayed here :)」

「Fabulous property. Location is fantastic in quiet Ribeira Grande. Easy to get to all parts of Sao Miguel. My only advice is that if you come for the outdoor pool, it is very cold, and days with sun are elusive.」
