「I need to travel to grass Valley for two months for my nursing program. I found this hotel and decided to book it based on the price and was not expecting much because of the price. I was pleasantly surprised! The unit is very big. When you first walk in, you have a bathroom area to the left and then a fridge and microwave on the right and then you walk down a few stairs into the actual room which is a very large space. It doesn’t come with a lot of extras, but it was definitely worth the price...

「Had a really lovely 4 nights at the inn. Owned by a really lovely and friendly couple. Room was a good size, with a big comfortable bed. Plenty of bedding and towels. You get to use a lot of the property as well as the room. There is a front porch, a back room with amenities for tea/coffee, fridge, ice, microwave etc. You can sit inside there or down the stairs where there is another fridge. There are two areas to sit outside as well under parasols. The inn is minutes from the town. I would stay...

「We stayed in the basement room (1 queen and bunkbed) which was perfect for our family of 4 with a dog. The room opens up to a big outdoor area, so it's extremely easy to to take the dog out. There was a small fridge and microwave so we had everything we needed for a night's stay. The only thing to know is that you have to go down two flights of stairs to access the room which may be an issue for some. Would definitely stay here again!」

「This is a recently renovated Gold Rush era hotel, very quaint and authentic. The rooms and bathrooms have been updated to modern standards which is nice, but have authentic period decor/antiques. The town is VERY small and cute, extremely quiet (in general) and a walkable historic self-guided tour. It makes a great base of operations for exploring the area.
