"Clean room"

"The rooms are small, as described in the measurements online so it's quite tight for a family of 4 (w 2 small kids) but did the job for us. Check in was quick and easy for us, process is very smooth. Staff are prompt in responding to inquiries (front desk & room service). They come by quite quickly if after you make your phone call requesting for extra items. Washroom has a very high step which takes time to adjust to, a bit dark so hard to see how clean it is. The breakfast buffet selection is good, and the staff serving is good. It runs from 07:00 to 10:30. For some reason, we were ushered out really quick on one of the mornings (at 10:35am) even though there were other people who were still seated at their tables. We loved there is an underground path to walk to get to Shinjuku station, it was very convenient for us. "

"Sadly we were only able to stay 1 or the 2 nights we reserved at Mustard Hotel due to a flight issue. However, yesterday when we checked in everything was still arranged and ready for our arrival. The staff were amazingly kind, friendly, and courteous to us. They were even kind enough to upgrade our room to a large balcony room and gave us some breakfast tickets as well. What a lovely gesture! The room itself was very nice and spacious (from what we understand rooms can be small in Tokyo). We didn’t feel cramped or like the room was too small. Beds were very comfortable and the duvets were soft. The aircon worked perfectly and the shower was piping hot with tons of water pressure. Lastly, location of the hotel. I was a little worried it was too out of the way. But, the hotel ended up being about a 10 minute walk from many late night restaurants. All in all, what a lovely stay, too bad it was only one for 1 night. But between the lovely staff and the cool laid back vibe the hotel offers, we’ll definitely be back! "

"Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. We paid ¥60,000 per night and the moment we walked into the room, we considered leaving and booking somewhere else. Tiny room, wrong configuration, and the hotel was so overcrowded we couldn’t even get breakfast. To top it off, we saw the same room available that night for nearly half the price. Extremely poor value! would not stay again!"

"All ok"

"The room is clean and washing machine inside the room is convenient. There are basic utensils if you want to cook. There’s a lounge/dining area if you want to rest outside your room but lacking hot water facility. I have to boil water using the kettle from the room and bring it down so that our relative who came over to visit can have some tea. There’s a small coffee counter ( I would not even call it a shop) but does not serve with milk, you have to pay. Overall, convenient place, slightly up the hill and close enough to Shibuya crossing (around 700m downhill). "

"Kitchen had everything necessary. The washer dryer was wonderful. The room had stains in the carpet and bed sheets were towards the end of their useful life. Location was good. Short walk to shibuya. "

"Beautiful hotel and it was a plus that a onsen was included. The room was large and had enough space for two people and 4 suitcases. The location was also really good, only a few blocks from the train station and only a few stops from major tourist locations. Additionally they had two onsen, one inside and one outside. I would definitely stay here again. "
