"I read that this property was remodeled in 2025, but our room didn't look that up to date. I stayed here when it was The Crown Plaza so knew that the location was great! It's also one of the few properties with 2 queen beds. So it fit the bill. We also had AC issues 2 out of the 5 nights, but the hotel took care of us. If you're looking for a great location, then this is your property."

"The staff at Hotel St. James were amazing and incredibly accommodating. Although the room was small, it was comfortable and had everything we needed for our one-night stay. The atmosphere throughout the hotel was relaxed and welcoming, making it a pleasant place to stay. We would definitely consider staying here again on a future visit to New York City."
