The staff were extremely friendly and helpful upon check-in. We had arrived well after midnight because our flight was very delayed, so we were very relieved we got our room, which was clean and comfortable. The breakfast the next morning was very impressive too. the parking lot is a bit small, but we made do and found a spot. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice Hotel. Staff were very nice and helpful. The included breakfast buffet was great. My only reservations would be that the bathrooms are very small and the sink is located outside of the bathroom.

I've stayed at this hotel a few times because it is conveniently located by several highways and public transportation as well. Some of the rooms are more "tired" than others, but they are clean and comfortable.

Fine place for a night we had to be in the area. Appreciate included breakfast (was hoping for fruit, but that might just be me), and the free fancy coffee machine in lobby. Staff friendly. Property’s old, but clean, with one smallish elevator. Parking lot’s TIGHT, as in if you don’t have a backup camera you’ll need someone to guide you in and out of your space. But parking’s included, too, so still a plus.

The staff were very friendly, and the coffee was surprisingly good. The breakfast area was comfortable, and the food was pretty decent as well. The restaurant downstairs (Spanish/Italian) was even better—the food was absolutely delicious. We also got to watch a harpist perform while we were there, which made for a really nice experience. The location is great. There are plenty of fast-food options nearby, and it was very easy to drive into the city. My only issue was the parking—but honestly, this may be more of a “me” problem than a hotel problem. I’m from Texas, and I’m definitely not used to parking in spaces this tight. Unfortunately, as much as I enjoyed the hotel, I don’t think I would stay here again simply because my parking skills are not up to the challenge. Overall, it’s a great hotel. Anyone with better parking skills than mine would probably have a wonderful stay!

Simply put. My room was a single king size bed. That was okay but the bathroom was old school, very small with a sink outside the actual bathroom. The room had 2 sensor light switches whereas whether I was using the sink or the bathroom, the lights would go off. More of an issue while taking a shower, and not a long shower mind you. The shower curtain was torn and the other all condition of the interior was just dated and showing its age.

Room was very clean, breakfast was good, staff was always helpful. We had a car and there was always parking. It is a short ride to the LIRR to get into the city or if you want to take the bus or subway, the bus stop is just a block away. I would definitely stay there again!

The restaurant within the hotel is delicious, the included breakfast was outstanding. Fresh and healthy options available every morning. Front desk staff was exceptional, very professional and accommodating. This Best Western will definitely remain on my top accommodation list when visiting St. John’s University in Queens.
