"The hotel is 15 min drive, not 3 like is advertised. The rooms are very, very small but clean. The problem is the extreme noise from the street, thin walls between the rooms and constant noise from running bathroom water. Difficult to sleep. "

"This was the second time we have stayed in the converted Fire Station apartment. It is a good-sized studio, we love the wrap around views both inside and outside and spend lots of time on the fabulous deck, which includes both a shaded area and a BBQ. We also love all the unique heritage decor items from its past use as a fire station that elevate this from a boring hotel suite. We enjoy the ability to cook in the well-organised kitchen. The bed and pillow are comfortable. There was an extra doona but no cover for it which was a little odd. (Note: the photo displayed here by Hotels.com is for a separate building on the island, not the fire studio). "
