「We’ve stayed here for one night. The receptionist is quite friendly, small terrace water front view is good however there are lots of fly at front door of room. It’s scary as we need to open/close door quickly, otherwise the fly will run into room. When I talked with the female receptionist, she said they also feel weird but nothing there to attract fly though. All we can do is using the mosquito racket to catch fly…. 「guest room outlook a bit outdated, but generally clean and tidy....nice balcony with seaview, convenient parking... no air conditioner inside the room and a bit hot in summer afternoon... the hotel restaurant was closed for two days and we had no chance to try their food」

「Excellent hostess Lili - a wonderful Soul. The breakfasts provided delicious. The Davis Brook Retreat such a serene place for rejuvenation. We spent majority of our time on chaise lounges in the back yard listening to the song birds and wind chimes. A wee disappointment was the pool not really heated. Nowhere in website did it say pool not heated. Managed to get into pool once but not for long - rather cold. Did use hot tub once also. Overall a lovely stay. Will go again.」
