This is a wonderful little cove spot off the main road. Ocean front view and quiet. We unfortunately could not stay in one of the tents but our room in the main building had an ocean view. There are renovations going on so I am sure the room will have a more modern feel later on. We had a great kayak paddle along the shoreline ( complimentary) and the restaurant Tubird had great options. Great little get away spot on the Sunshine Coast. Look forward to returning again soon.

We got stuck in the area after the ferries were cancelled and lucked into a one night stay here, and now we can’t wait to come back. They were so sweet and helpful receiving unexpected guests. They went out of their way to accommodate us and help us relax. And wow it’s so beautiful. I went birding first thing and there was so many birds. I could see eagles and seals from our room. It is truly stunning, but I still think the staff were my favourite part!

Nice quite stay. We were upgraded to a cabin. Very quite. Would be nice to have more comfortable chairs in the room rather than those wooden folding chairs. Food at the restaurant was also very good.

Nice spot. Beautiful ocean view and nature. A few problems with the cabin though. The hot water cut out right when my partner was in the shower washing her hair - so she had to finish with cold water. Also the electrical power circuit breaker kept turning off whenever more than one electrical appliance was being used. For example, when the electrical fireplace/space heater was on at the same time as the electric kettle, they would both switch off. And then when my partner used the blow dryer, all the power in the in cabin went off, lights and everything. There was a circuit breaker panel in the room and when I flicked the switch off and then back on, the power returned. But it kept happening. When I reported the matter to the front desk, they sent maintenance to look at it and later reported both the hot water and electricity as fixed. The hot water had returned but the electricity kept switching off for the rest of the trip. I told them this at checkout and they offered no apology or discount but just said, "We know why this happened, and will fix it." Also, there were two frozen beers in the fridge freezer left by previous occupants, and a couple crumpled up pieces of paper - garbage - under the bed. If they get better cleaning staff and fix their electrical and hot water issues, I would give them full rating because it is a beautiful ocean view spot. But as it was I unfortunately have to give them a medium rating. Also the dinner was excellent at the restaurant.

We had a wonderful time with our furry friend at the cabin # 4 that we enjoy the great view and peaceful surroundings. The only downside was an odor in the cabin, which was stronger in the bathroom, we left all the windows open to air it out day and night! Other than that, everything was fantastic!

Pros: Friendly staff, s'mores nightly firepit, beautiful location, amazing boardwalk. Cons: We were in the oldest part of the resort, the shower was one of those very large old soaker tubs with a shower above (make shift style). The TV in the bedroom didn't work, the mini fridge didn't work, and they forgot to clean our room (we were there for three nights).

We recently stayed at Rockwater Secret Cove Resort, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing. The property is very run down and appears to be in serious need of maintenance. Our room was not clean, and there were several issues that made the stay uncomfortable and concerning. The TV did not work, the heater was broken and seemed unsafe, and the bathroom door actually jammed while my child was inside, which was very frightening. There was also visible mold in the room, which triggered my allergies. On top of that, there was a constant dripping or tapping sound throughout the night that made it impossible to sleep. We had originally booked for two nights but felt so uncomfortable and unsafe that we checked out after just one night. We were told the manager would contact us regarding these issues, but we never received any follow-up email. Overall, this stay was very disappointing, especially given the price and expectations. The location is beautiful, but the property itself needs significant upgrades and proper maintenance before it can justify the cost. I would recommend saving your money and choosing a different place to stay.
