Nothing. I have stayed here numerous times over the last 20 years, but it is rapidly going down hill. The food used to be top quality, now it is barely palatable, not properly described on the menu and the servings sizes are too small to fill up a little 75 year old lady let alone her tall gentleman companion. The room is dirty. The mopping just spreads dirt around, along with most likely the dirt from countless other rooms. Tried to take a bath, but the faucet came apart in my hand. Sheets did not properly fit the bed and came off during the night to the point I had to wake up to remake the bed. The bed was so hard it was like sleeping on a floor. Some days there was no room service. Awful experience..

Location is ideal, entertainment was great and staff courteous. However the room is found lacking, the telephone doesn’t work so any issues I had to walk to the front desk. Issues such as another blanket which they had no more of, the toilet doesn’t flush properly and the tv remote doesn’t work. Also the space in the room is limited the chair is so close to the bed my roomie collided into the chair.

Had a great time although some miscommunication but everything was straighten out. The bartender and waitresses were very friendly and professional will be back. However, they need to offer double beds rather than king size beds because many women take girl trips and don’t want to share beds but stay in the same room. A few of the family suites should have double beds. Nevertheless I’ll be back.

Website does not diclose 24 hour bar. If you are looking for a quiet vacation you will not find it here. Staff all very cordial and polite but the loud music and party at the bar never stops.

The 24/7 open bar is a real issue. We were being kept awake by pounding music- literally 24/7. When we asked for the music to be lowered at midnight, we were patronized and the music kept on blasting. It’s such a shame, because the hotel is so lovely and perfectly situated right off the beach.

This hotel has gone completely downhill because of the new owners. I’ve frequented Sea Splash many times over the years and I could not believe how such a great hotel could turn into such a trashy place. While we were there oven was broken,AC broke down, ans TV broke (which they did replace. They now have. 24 hour bar where I heard blasting music until 6:45 in the morning my first night. The owners where visiting during my stay. Seen one come out of the room next to me with prostitutes on more than one occasion. Im pretty sure they rent rooms out by the hour. Owners were smug couldnt even say goodmorning. Although one owner who works in the kitchen was very friendly to us. Waitstaff was extremely friendly. Bottom line the hotel is falsely advertised and is a NONSTOP party place for locals.

I stayed at this place multiple times over the last 4 years. This was my first time since the name and management changed. It was a disaster. The shower had no pressure, toilet didnt flush, AC didn't work, phone didn't work, blinds were see-through with no privacy. My room was near the bar so there were constantly people screaming and loud music. I didn't get any sleep. My worse night was the last one(saturday night) i returned to the hotel bar after a long day and wanted to buy my friends a round of drinks, they claimed to have no rum cream, no banana, no coconut, no fruit juice, no beer. I tried to ask what they did have but the bartender walked away to serve some underage girl instead. I walked away. 15mins later someone finally brought 2 beers over after someone else in my group complained. I went to bed after that and was awake all night because of people screaming. I could hear guys calling out to each other behind my door, smoking and blowing smoke into my room and laughing. It lasted all night. Then no one would serve me breakfast. I went to check out. Couldnt get an itemized receipt so i dont know what i paid for. And to make things worse i found out the guys who scared me all night were the management!! The only good thing about that place is Natasha's one love massage spa which is just amazing! Awesome massages, kind and helpful staff. Definitely will return for them but will sleep in another hotel!

Awesome staff - extremely friendly and helpful. Our room? Peeling paint, no phone, loose wires hanging down and no lock on the safe. We changed rooms and were told they had no working locks for the safe. This room was across from a fenced in “dump” - construction supplies, garbage, you name it. The pool was always cloudy, never looked clean. While the food was excellent, it was very expensive. The beach area was nice. The sand was raked every morning.

Our plane was delayed in US due to rain. We arrived in Montego late pm and had to rush to get in line for customs. The line was very long had taxi service waiting. Made the hour drive to Yard House. Upon arriving management did not have our room ready. After confusion and delay finally taken to suite. The ac was not working, my son has asthma. We spoke to hotel, Mr. Tucker he was very professional and understanding. He moved us to a room with great ac but only a king size bed. The kitchen was open had very late dinner the cook and staff super nice and accommodating. Next we moved to suite with working ac. At time of booking I requested suite with loft and 2 twin beds . I called ahead of trip to ensure this suite was booked. I was assured it was booked for us. The suite we stayed did not have the loft w twin beds. Our trip was cut short by 3 days. We are self employed. During our stay the owner's of Yard Beach House were there. Not once did either one of the two greeted us. At times we would walk pass them and were completely ignored. I found this off putting. I choose Yard House based on customer reviews to which I see the reviews were exaggerated. Customer service is everything. The staff were all very friendly and professional especially Mr. Tucker. Mr. Tucker did what he could within his means to accommodate us. Yard House would have such potential if ownership extended themselves to everyone staying.

Mini resort que surpreendeu.

Hotel Surpreendente! Esperava muito menos depois de estar vindo de pousadas em port Antonio e Ocho Rios que quase não tinham infraestrutura. Esse hotel é a beira mar, um mini resort com estacionamento, restaurante com pé na areia, infraestrutura de praia e uma praia belíssima (mais de 5 km de praia). Os quartos são pequenos mas muito bons (nada espetacular, mas bem melhor que o padrão da jamaica). Pontos fracos apenas para o checkout que foi um pouco desorganizado e para o chuveiro. tirando isso, amamos! Wifi e Tv falharam alguns dias, mas é um problema estrutural na Jamaica.

Hotel com localicação fantastica, equipe super atenciosa, cozinha de otima qualidade. Conservação fisica deixa a desejar, mas o esforço da equipe e o lugar compensam. Shows ao vivo com banda de reggae são algo que merece destaque especial.

Friendly friendly Staff great location but old roo

First room we checked into was too noisy ,we were by the street. The second room was dated & old ceiling peeling, refrigerators old and the towels were shabby. The Wi-Fi didn't work in the room for most of the time. We have to go outside to get signal. The second night the air-condition went out, we had to use the ceiling fan. The headboard rattled all night and the room has no blackout. I locked my belongings in the safe and no one could open because there was no key or code to it. I had to wait for the manager. This was my husband's birthday get away and it was truly disappointing. I am requesting one night compensation. Feel free to contact me.

Perfection to say the Least

Me and my sister needed a last minute place to stay and we found Yard Beach House. I can’t even describe how we feel like the luckiest girls in the world to have discovered this little gem. Walking distance from margarita ville, AMAZING STAFF, delicious food, 24 hour restaurant and bar, and not to mention immaculately clean. We are so happy to have found this great place and we are already thinking about our next vacation. Thank you to all the amazing staff. I would give this place more than five stars if i could!
