- The buildings are designed in a way where most of the rooms get an ocean view. I was in Bldg 2 where the ocean view is partially blocked by big trees.
- Dining options are good, but the food quality is average. It is better to dine at the Gourmet Marché as you can get a taste of every other restaurant at this dining location.

- I have a family member with food allergies. Each of the dining restaurant will ask about food allergies, but they do not have any alternatives that they can provide.
- Room Air-conditioning was an issue since the time we checked in and called the service desk. They sent a technician and he tried restarting the unit, but in vain. We complained over the next 2 days, but the front desk staff did not do anything about this issue. I also heard about the same issue with other guests.
- This resort is a Marriott hotel and but they will only honor your reservation as a Marriott Bonvoy member if you have booked directly with the hotel (this was communicated to me by the front desk staff). I am a Lifetime Executive Platinum Marriott member and the front desk would not honor any simple request made to them thru Expedia email notification (request was made for a 2 queen bed room). On the very last day, a Marriott representative shows up at the door and says that he is very sorry and was not aware of my Marriott Bonvoy status and asks me to join for a special banquet session to which I gracefully declined. I was not expecting this at all !!
