"Pros: Adrian at the front desk is friendly; the hotel is very conveniently located and the building is gorgeous; beautiful decor. Clean room and comfy bed, so we slept very well. We loved using a code instead of a key!
Cons: The room was in good condition but it lacks basic safety and practical items, for example, there was no folding thingy to place our suitcase so we had to use the desk. The tub was hip-height with no handle to get in and no anti-slip surface so it took a lot of thought to get into and out of the tub. No hooks to hang towels.
Service was typical Panamanian service, meaning it was bad. We asked at least three times to have our room cleaned and the bed made. Nothing. They pegged it to us not hanging the Please Make Up This Room sign at the door (which we did). Throughout Panama, though, that's how service is. You can ask for something and it will often not be done or will only get done after many requests.

"A great hotel. The staff is incredible. Everyone works hard to make sure you have a wonderful experience. The rooms were spacious, the shower simply one of a kind - large and water pressure that was amazing. The room was clean. Enjoyed the pool - a wonderful place to relax, swim and have a great cocktail. Highly recommend it."
"This is the perfect place to stay in old time. Get apt 2B for the best balcony and view. Communication was lacking if you use the messenger through Hotels.com. They send an email with instructions 24 hours before check-in. Pay close attention to that. "
