Hotel de Guise has bags of charm so close to Nancy’s Grand Rue and is a peaceful spot to stay. A perfect small friendly hotel, with attentive but not intrusive service. Despite being in the ‘Old town’ nearby parking is no problem and if downloaded the EasyPark app for on street parking is super easy to use.

Excellent location
Great location for sightseeing and shopping. Staff very helpful. Beds super comfortable. Disappointed by a level of cleannesses as the room was quite dusty. Also not possible to ventilate the room as on the ground floor at the street level hence noisy if windows open.

Hôtel très décevant - highly disappointing hotel
Situé au cœur du Nancy médiéval, l’hôtel semblait tout réunir pour un séjour agréable. Nous avons déchanté : personnel aimable mais peu professionnel (sans aucun doute des emplois étudiants), chambre dans la cours (dans d’anciennes dépendances ?) au plafond bas, sans aération (sauf à laisser la fenêtre ouverte) à la température intenable même chauffage coupé. Décoration moderne minimaliste. Salle de bains minuscule avec une douche aux joints moisis et femme de chambre qui n’a pas nettoyé les verres à dents pendant les 3 jours de notre séjour … Enfin petit déjeuner frugal. Bien que servi à table, peu de choix proposé (2 sortes de fromages, pas de charcuterie, pas de spécialités locales, aucun gâteau..,) le tout pour 16€par personne. L’hôtel ne mérite pas ses 3 étoiles. Located in the heart of medieval Nancy, the hotel seemed to have everything we needed for a pleasant stay. We were disappointed: friendly but unprofessional staff (undoubtedly student jobs), a room in the courtyard (in former outbuildings?) with low ceilings, no ventilation (unless you leave the window open) and an unbearable temperature, even with the heating turned off. Minimalist modern decoration. Tiny bathroom with a shower with mouldy joints and a maid who didn't clean the glasses for the 3 days of our stay... Finally, a frugal breakfast. Although it was served at the table, there was little choice (2 types of cheese, no cold meats, no local specialities, no cakes...) and all this for 16€ per pers

Surpris en arrivant de voir que j'avais une chambre PMR qui n'a pas le même confort que les autres car au pied de l'escalier principal avec tout le passage que cela implique. La moindre des choses aurait été de prévenir avant. Quand vous avez pris votre douche, vous vous retrouver avec de l'eau au pied du lavabo ce qui est fort désagréable et même avec le tapis de douche cela ne suffit pas. Pas eu un désolé quand j'ai été voir le réceptioniste le soir en arrivant pour lui expliquer et il insistait sur le fait que le confort était le même. Sinon petit déjeuné de qualité avec de très bons produits.

Bon séjour
Hôtel calme, bon petit déjeuner. Le personnel est très affable et accueillant. Je regrette toutefois la remontée d’odeurs dans la salle de bain (liée à la météo pluvieuse ?), c’était assez désagréable et j’ai abondamment aéré la chambre au matin.

Zentrale Lage gute Lage, dennoch etwas zu teuer.
Sehr zentral gelegen, Parkplatz in 5 min. erreichbar. Ruhige Lage dennoch unweit von zahlreichen Restaurants und Bars. Der Preis ist dennoch einen Tick zu teuer für die Größe und die Ausstattung des Zimmers. Frühstück kostet nochmals Aufpreis.

The hotel is in the quiet pedestrian area of the Vile Vielle, conveniently placed for restaurants and bars. The front desk staff were very helpful and, in the late summer heat, the offer of unlimited cold water was welcomed. Breakfast offering up local produce was a lovely touch to make the stay a little more unique than other city hotels.

I had a wonderful night at Hotel De Guise. The room was nice and quiet but the best was the breakfast. At first it seemed a bit uncommon that there was no buffet but everything was so good, fresh and regional. Thank you, I will come back!

We stayed 2 nights at Hotel de Guise and were greeted on our arrival by friendly and professional staff. There is a beautiful courtyard at the hotel and we really enjoyed relaxing in this area. The rooms were spotlessly clean and well appointed. On check out we were offered complimentary coffees which was a lovely and unexpected treat. The hotel is very well situated in the old town with lots of quaint streets, bars and restaurants nearby. We would highly recommend Hotel de Guise and look forward to our next trip to Nancy and stay here.

Fotos täuschen komplett
Die Fotos der vermeintlichen Aussenansicht sind nicht vom Hotel, sondern vielmehr vom Unesco-Weltkulturerbe-Platz mit dem Rathaus. Vielleicht hätte man als Kunde das wissen müssen, ich jedoch nicht und fühlte mich doch etwas hinter das Licht geführt. Ein Foto von der richtigen Aussenansicht anbei. Die Fotos von den Zimmern haben mit der Realität meines Zimmers auch überhaupt gar nicht gemein. Ich konnte auch in andere Zimmer schauen, die ebenso keine Ähnlichkeit mit den Fotos zu tun haben. Ich würde einmal auf heftiges Photoshopped tippen oder auf ein einzelnes renoviertes Zimmer im Hause. Das ist insbesondere schade, weil das Hotel eigentlich gar nicht so schlecht war. Es war nur die Erwartungshaltung durch die Fotos die in keiner Form der Realität standhielt.
