"We were a little surprised how well this hotel was rated. It wasn't bad, just not as exceptional as the ratings reflect. There were only 2 pillows in the room, and when I ask for more the staff informed me there were none. At a hotel? No pillows? The room was clean enough, but not spotless. There were dirty spots on the carpet and visible dust on furniture. However, it's not a bad place. So it's tricky to rate. The location is great and it's quiet and safe. The room is spacious for Japanese standards and the shower is amazing. It was wonderful having our own washing machine. There was no iron however."

"The private spa was nice for our family of 4. Front staff who checked us in was pleasant and helped book our spa. The hotel is in a convenient location. Room was so clean and decor was pretty! Loved that there was a washer/dryer in our suite, but we had some issues understanding how to use it since it was in Japanese. Other than that, our stay was quite lovely!"
