Hotel Royal Classic Osaka

"Pros: great location, not obvious that the hotel has its own subway entrance/exit which is number 12 from Namba which connects to the lowest floor of the hotel. Room was very spacious (royal suite) but uncomfortable furnishings on the sofa - wasn’t somewhere I could relax at all. All staff very helpful and attentive, breakfast ingredients especially baked goods and bacon/sausage should be a higher quality at this price point. The coffee machine dispenses very small coffee. Complimentary minibar drinks were appreciated."

Centara Grand Hotel Osaka

"The room was so nice. Kids loved the bunk beds. The view was amazing. The area was very family friendly and walkable. The Thai restaurant was delicious for a dinner meal and then we went to the rooftop. We didn’t realize it was a kid friendly rooftop!! We enjoyed the view on our last night and it was a fantastic experience. A bit far for Lego Centre and Universal Studios, but worth it to not have to pack up and move every few days."

"We absolutely loved our stay here and honestly wish we had stayed here on our previous trips too. The hotel was spotless, smelled amazing, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. It’s also in a great location with plenty of food options nearby. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Osaka!"

Hotel Monterey Le Frere Osaka

8/10 Good

"The hotel is near a lot of underground shopping and restaurant areas. This can make navigation a bit tricky because it's not always clear if the place you are looking for is street level or below. The room was a decent size, but the beds were much closer that expected. Our room had three beds. There was a small walking space between the two larger beds. The smaller bed was touching a wall on one side and the larger bed on the other. There wasn't a lot of room for luggage, but the bathroom was a reasonable size."
