"The hotel is connected to the Osaka Metro through Namba station (exit 12) so getting to the hotel is extremely convenient from any direction. A small-ish Famimart is also directly joined just in case you need some essentials.
The hotel itself is well appointed throughout its public spaces, and the furnishings are classic albeit a bit muted. For visitors needing a quiet and subdued place to relax, it does very well. The bathroom and washroom are spacious and the hotel does provide bath powders to enhance your relaxation, which is a very nice and appreciated detail. They also provide plenty of free water, sufficient for those going outdoors to explore. Beds were easy to sleep in and pillows were of a good firmness as well. The provided coffee and tea is solid, although not extraordinary. I did need to bring my own caffeine-free options as the lowest caffeine level provided is houjicha. Cleanliness is solid, although one of the bathroom walls looked like it had some grouting or epoxy stuck to it - nothing to worry about but a bit of a cosmetic miss.
Buffet breakfast was a bit expensive but also very good. The front case facing the doors stood out with fresh carpaccio and roast beef, as well as their plentiful hot choices and classic choices like pancakes and yogourt with granola (my choice!)
The staff were patient and accommodating and most were well-experienced with English. Mr. Kimura at the reception desk especially made our stay very enjoyable. I hope to be back soon!"
