Need updates really bad, old Emerson tvs, old tables, drop cords behind furniture, service not professional, rooms not very clean, Swimming pool, lazy river and elevators way to small for the size hotel it is. Very accommodating, we arricmved earlier than chk in. they made it possible to get in early. Very clean, lots of activiteis, outside bar had live misic everyday/ evening.

My daughters and I immediately requested a change of room bc our initial room was uninhabitable; very dirty and smelly. The front desk staff member understood and moved us immediately. That room was better but still lacked freshness. We went out and purchased Lysol spray and wipes. Additionally, there was loud banging and police activity at about 4 am that same morning. We felt unsafe and I called Expedia to explained everything and they agreed that I should check out and find another accommodation. Anyone staying here should be cautious. The website info and actual accommodations are not the same.

We had a great stay. The hotel was very clean and the amenities were nice. The beach was just a few short steps from the pool. It wasn’t dreadful walking and packing all the beach supplies back. I will definitely stay here again if I return to Myrtle Beach.

Rooms need a deep cleaning. Mold on lamp shades, air conditioning, walls. This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed at. Mold does not just show up overnight. We were told to keep ac at 70 due to moisture. Well I have stayed in many ocean front places and I have never seen such filth. Don’t waste your money on this place !!!!!😫😤

The staff and location were amazing. Ocean Annies bar is a blast. The room was old, and while currently a nonsmoking room, the smell of stale cigarettes was very strong. It wasn’t the cleanest room either. There was dust bunnies caught in the texture on the walls and ceiling as well as the ceiling fan. The elevators were also consistently down.

The maintenance of this property is subpar at best. Elevators in the tower to the right only had one working elevator. The rooms (837 & 1836) were dirty and falling apart. Trim falling down, holes in walls from makeshift brackets to hold headboard in place. Very disappointing for sure. By the pool beside River City Cafe smells like dirty grease. The only reason I go above 1 star overall the staff was very friendly.

Location of hotel is conveniently located near many restaurants and shopping. Rooms are old and outdated, mattresses old, hard and very uncomfortable, bathrooms very old and outdated. We never received clean towels nor was the trash removed per hotel policy. Public entrances and exits were dirty - vomit near several exterior doors.

I liked the live entertainment,it was nice.The room conditions were horrible. The floors were filthy and there was mold on the ceiling and it looked as if the beds had been slept in. I had to call and have them change all the linens,including the towels which had hair on almost every last one of them.I cleaned the bathrooms and floors.When checking in another person said her room was filthy as well.I read the reviews before going and they said the rooms were clean but dated,that was a lie.The place was filthy, no other word to describe it. I will never stay there ever again.

I liked the convenience of on site restaurant and bar. Our room was in bad disrepair. There was mold on parts of the ceiling, walls in room and tub. Furniture was in bad shape and the mattresses were horrible. When we arrived I reported that our neighbors were smoking so much pot that it was coming under the door jams (connecting and main door) and was also horrible when you got off the one elevator that worked. Mind you this was a nonsmoking room. They sent someone up to spray an aerosol spray to TRY and cover it. It made me nauseous until they finally checked out the day before us.

The property was decent. Great distant tothe beach. Pools and a few restaurants. The rooms could use an update. The refrigerator could be better. The cleaning staff could do a better job doing the daily refresh...take the garbage out and replace towels...we should not have to ask for that.

This is centrally located, near stores and restaurants. The pool and lazy river need some repairs but are nice areas. It is easy to access the beach from this property. The property offers free lunch during the week which was a nice perk. The room needs more lighting, as the living room was very dark in the evenings. There is no sofa bed as listed. The bunk bed was very noisy/squeaky. The room was not very clean upon our arrival, as there was sand and dirt on the floor.

The room was filthy. There were still items left from the previous occupants, socks, bottles of water, etc. All of the vents had mold. There was a layer of dust on everything. Booked a room that was supposed to have a washer and dryer in the unit. However, when we arrived there was not when we talked to the manager about the fact that our room was not only not oceanfront as advertised but Ocean view and that there was no washer and dryer. She demanded that we show our confirmation email stating that those were in what we booked. Expedia does not have that information. It just states that it's a two-bedroom unit. We asked if we could switch rooms to get what we had originally booked and we were told no because our bill of sale did not show that. We had the drain come completely open in our shower. They sent a maintenance guy up. He glued it down and the next day it was back off and nobody ever did come fix it again. We went to the desk three times in one evening attempting to get towels and washcloths as no one had ever come and changed our trash or our linens by Wednesday. The gentleman at the desk was able to give us some linens and was supposed to send up more linens once he found them. However, we ended up getting them the next day. The sliding glass door to the outside balcony did not fully close so we had all the noises from the bar and pool area came right in and The walls are so paper thin that we could hear people next to us. Everything that they talked and did.
