Ocean creek is in a park-like setting and is quiet, family-friendly, many pools, and shopping nearby. It has been around for a while and some of the units need to be upgraded and/or better maintained.

Great place that we found last minute as for another facility downtown was very nasty. Oyster. Reek worked for our whole team as for we had about 8 families that had to relocate. Amazing beach Bar and pools also great little community.

Ocean Creek is close to good restaurants and shopping and before May the traffic is fairly light. Love the coast of SC and NC.

My first stay here was in July and we had a one bedroom lodge villa, it was wonderful and clean. I booked a two bedroom lodge villa for a weekend in September, and not only was the room they gave us almost impossible to find, when we did arrive it was so dirty- the floors and carpets looked like they haven't been cleaned at all, trash on the floor, dirty dishes in the dishwasher, the stove didn't work well, the vent fan above the stove didn't work at all, just awful. We switch rooms the next day, which was exhausting to do, packing and repacking everything. The new room was cleaner, but the twin beds they have in these rooms are hard and uncomfortable. Overall very disappointed and upset and did not get to enjoy my vacation.

Gated Resort a plus, the one bedroom was spacious with screened in balcony, shuttle to the beach was great, beach side bar, walking distance to Broadway at the Beach.

We have stayed here several time and like the layout of the property. The main pool and convenience to Tanger and Barefoot Landing is our favorite about it. The condo we have stayed at leaves something to wish for.. the bed was way too soft, the Tv had some issues and while there is a kitchen area the counter place is literally non existent to prepare anything. Overall it is an OK unit

Pros and Cons

Beautiful views, and landscape. Well decorated and Spacious rooms. Easy access to ocean. Check in clerk was not friendly and did not give detailed instructions and information as needed. Also had trouble reaching front desk and house keeping for towels and household items.
