Top Mumbles Hotel Reviews

King Arthur Hotel

King Arthur Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"First impressions are of a well established country hotel and pub. There was lots of parking avail and two ev chargers. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Nothing seeoto be too much trouble for them. The room was in an annex. It was spacious lean and comfortable. The only issue was the quality of tv reception but that is to be expected in a country setting where you are surrounded by hills. There was a large shower with toiletries and a hair dryer. All in all it was a quiet room facing on to a well maintained garden. The menu was made up of a pub style menu with a separate restaurant style menu that was different each night. The whole experience was very enjoyable and good value."

Somerfield Lodge

Somerfield Lodge

"Overall a good experience for the price. Rooms are all twin rooms to accommodate golfers on play and stay packages which doesn’t always suit couples but the beds were comfortable. Don’t try the restaurant except for breakfast which was freshly cooked by a really nice chef who was more than happy to cook my wife a gluten free veggie breakfast. The bar is a decent size and has a large projector TV for watching football and a full sized snooker table. The lodge overlooks the golf course but don’t get rooms 5 or 6 if you want views out of your window as they only have velux windows that are high up. Lovely views whilst having breakfast though."

"Great location, price and staff. Parking too. We had a room for 3 adults but only had two towels and there was no hot water from the shower. The kettle also didn’t look the cleanest and had limescale. It’s perfect if you want cheap and cheerful for a night out but if you want comfort or are taking older family and friends it misses those final touches"
