「Nice looking hotel in a lovely location. It is conveniently located in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park making it ideal to get out and about either walking, hiking, and cycling in the surrounding area. Waterfall country is about a 30 minute drive away. Very friendly and polite staff. Food was on the slightly pricey side but it was excellent quality. 「Beautiful large country house in spectacular surroundings with a fantastic welcome from the gentleman at reception who couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful! A brilliant start! The room was cosy and had everything one would expect and the shower was great too! The decor was so smart and well-suited to the rest of the property. We were lucky enough to be situated in the coach house on the ground floor so we had some French doors on to a patio table and chairs which was great to relax on...

「Unfortunately stayed on a weekend with a wedding, where we were on the first floor above the disco. There's non existent sound proofing and sticky doors that slams as you try to close them. Beware there's also no air con or fans. On the plus side, we had a nicely renovated room and the staff were friendly. We would have loved to have used the spa facilities but the swimming pool closed at 8pm and the spa was closed at that bank holiday weekend.」

「Reception staff sullen; restaurant staff overrun, service slow. Food quality poor. Hotel looks good but otherwise nothing special. Shower awful - hot then cold, lost pressure during my shower. Grounds have some interesting photo opportunities for weddings but disjointed and tacky for any other time.」

「Nice little B&B a few yards from the course at Clyne. Small but well appointed twin rooms and a delicious full breakfast served in the clubhouse. Staff and members very hospitable and all four in our party very pleased and would happily stay again. 」

The shower worked well, although there is no where to put your own shampoo/ shower gel etc but on the floor. The glass partition to the shower means that the floor tends to get wet.
