"We had a wonderful stay at Oyado Kiyomizuya this fall! This ryoken offers an authentic onsen experience in the beautiful Noboribetsu onsen town. The staff were lovely and truly made this such a special place to stay. While other hotels may offer more modern facilities, Oyado Kiyomizuya provided a unique, authentic experience, from a peaceful private onsen, to spacious tatami mat rooms, to delicious kaiseki dinner and breakfast and more. "Room is spacious and practical. Furniture is well appointed. Location of the hotel is superb within walking distance to the shops and major attractions. The hotel provides bus service to snd from Sapporo Station with a fee, minimal charge. With breakfast and dinner ( half board) included with a charge,this accommodation is a good place to chill and relax."

"What a lovely place! It’s basic but has everything you need - clean, fridge, a safe and kettle & green tea, The bed was so comfortable. On one of the floors, there’s two microwaves and a seating area. I used this and it was very clean. There is a small Onsen and laundry facilities (which I didn’t use). I did use the Onsen facilities in their sister hotel directly opposite - wonderful! Highly recommended."

"The venue is wonderful. Located slightly off the town centre. However, it was challenging to get dinner on site as dinner has to be pre booked. A bit of challenge for us as we did not know that and many places in town closed early. Breakfast was excellent. I had the Japanese breakfast and hubby had the western. Both were very good."
