All of the staff were lovely. The food was much improved since the last time, and the room had nice fixtures, but they were in dire need of maintenance. The first time we went to Gurneys for our Anniversary, they put us in a suite and had beds and bowls for our little dogs. This year, they put us in the farthest building, overlooking the parking lot with no amenities for our dogs (who we paid for). They did not even provide hand towels! I hope they can improve because for that price, off-season, we can find better.

We had a lovely one night stay. Everyone was very friendly. Having my dogs there was a treat. The spa was great and relaxing. GIGI’s restaurant is a must. The only complaint I have is that the bedclothes need to be updated. They were torn/frayed in multiple places. Other than that it was a great trip.

Gurney's is perfect for a short reset by the sea with wonderful spa and pool. Restaurant onsite is v. good.

The Staff are what make this place the breakfast staff amazing and the reception. I travel all over the world and it’s so refreshing to stay outside of the Marriot and Hilton groups. I enjoyed my 4 days there it was fantastic and relaxing well done keep up the work

A Truly Transcendent Weekend Escape: Impeccable Service and Luxury From the moment we arrived until the last minute of our departure, our anniversary weekend stay at Gurney’s was nothing short of perfection. This review is less about a hotel and more about an experience—one defined by luxury, comfort, and some of the most outstanding hospitality we’ve ever encountered. Our room was impeccable. It felt less like a hotel room and more like a private, beautifully curated sanctuary with an absolutely stunning view. It was the perfect space for relaxation after a busy week. The food at GiGi’s was a gastronomic delight. We enjoyed an exquisite breakfast there with a gorgeous view. The ingredients were fresh, the preparation was masterful, and the presentation elevated our dining experience. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the staff. Every single member of the team, without exception, provided service that was genuine, proactive, and friendly. From the seamless check-in, the entire valet team, the staff working the store, and most especially, the wait staff, their dedication to outstanding service made us feel uniquely valued. This level of consistent, outstanding care is rare, and it transformed our stay into a truly ten-star experience. I highly recommend Gurney’s to anyone seeking luxury, comfort, and service that goes above and beyond. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful location on the beach. We had a great room with an amazing view but upon checking into the room we were greeting with an unflushed toilet full of urine and cigarette butts.
