Liked: Staff & service
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was nice, however the pillow case was stained, and the bed squeaked something terrible. Plenty of parking available.
The room was clean and staff at the front desk was extremely helpful. However, on my floor the cleaning staff was unprofessional, and there was also an inadequate amount of towels provided in the room. When additional towels were requested, the interaction was not handled in a courteous or accommodating manner. I was told to go to the front desk to assist which I did at the time who rectified the situation. However, overall stay was decent despite small hiccup with
interaction with cleaning staff.
I liked the location, price is attractive and generally nice staff at the front desk.
Inside the hallway there was wired smell through out my stay but luckily nothing inside the room. I saw filthy stuff on the parking lot. I would stay away for family stay.
BEWARE. While I don't know who's behind what, there were two girls that were helping us and giving us confusing instructions. They claim we can't just ask for fresh towels, we need to return our used towels to get fresh ones. They say it's due to "new management". I hadn't been able to speak to a manager as they were unavailable at the time, so I'm unsure who is responsible, but when a guest asks for fresh towels, that should be an easy "here you go". If you're out of towels, buy more! The guy that worked the last night we stayed was way more helpful, like a normal hotel would be. There was a guy screaming at 4 AM near our room trying to get in his room, I suspect a domestic abuse situation there, but that's beside the point. The bed CREAKS. So if you are trying to be discreet, and make little noise, good luck! The beds are very uncomfortable. And guess what, sports fans? There's no working TV, and hasn't been for weeks. That's an easy fix! So what's the hold up? No hand towels, come on guys you can do better. You have to push to exit into the lobby sometimes, which is dangerous if a fire breaks out. I wouldn't recommend staying here in it's current condition, would rather pay an extra hundred and stay somewhere nicer than deal with this again.
