"I would like to share feedback regarding my recent stay at Fontainebleau, which unfortunately did not meet expectations, particularly in terms of service.
Upon check-in, the staff member assisting my best friend and I was neither welcoming nor attentive. As first-time guests, we had a few questions about the property and its amenities; however, she appeared visibly agitated and unwilling to assist. The interaction felt rushed and dismissive, and notably, she did not even inform us of our room number before concluding the check-in process. Her demeanor made us feel as though we were inconveniencing her, which left us with a very poor first impression.
After arriving at our room, we were pleased with its appearance; however, we did encounter a minor housekeeping issue, as there was someone else’s long hair left on the sheets. I do want to acknowledge that housekeeping responded promptly and resolved the issue by changing the bedding right away.
During our stay, we also experienced what felt like inconsistent treatment from staff. On multiple occasions while walking through the hotel, we were asked to show our room keys more frequently than other guests. For instance, while heading to the pool area, we observed other groups pass security before us without being stopped, yet we were specifically asked to present our room key. This felt uncomfortable and, frankly, discriminatory.
Though the actual hotel staff were not friendly, we received excellent service during dinner."
