"Hotel was very maintained staff & valet were always accessible & willing to help. Valet parking is worth the charge especially taken into consideration the parking lots nearby.only critique would be the pillows, I do wish a firm pillow would be included into the room to have the option available, the room was hot even though the thermostat read 51 it did cool down it just needed time to do so & the fridge not working during our stay."

"Great, historic hotel! Very cool bar onsite with cool history. Alamo is right next door and the riverwalk is very much within walking distance. La Mengerita has great breakfast tacos/coffee. Will always choose The Menger when in San Anton. "

"Breakfast are was clean and plentiful. Room was not so clean. Had to stay in and use the microwave, but the microwave was filthy. Had to ask for dish soap since there was none in the room. "

"Staff was courteous. Room was nice for the value. Breakfast was warm as advertised. Parking was a nightmare! Had to pay for parking that wasn't on the property & had to "borrow" a fob from the desk to come & go from the lot. Property was within walking distance of the Riverwalk/Alamo/dining. Wouldn't recommend this property with so many other options in the area."

"Had a wonderful stay. Beautiful hotel with many extras. Breakfast and dinner were included along with 3 drinks a day at no extra charge. Staff were friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcomed. Great location and would stay again! Only thing I wish could be improved is the valet set up. A bit time consuming; the staff running it do the bast they can with the spaces available."
