I travel to San Antonio a couple of times a month and recently discovered this place. Wow! The apartment was spotless, check-in was seamless and I’m officially hooked on the first floor coffee shop. The staff, both at the building and the cafe, were incredibly kind. This is without a doubt my go-to from now on.

I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The location couldn't be better—right in the heart of everything downtown. The room was comfortable, very well maintained, and had a great overall vibe. I’d definitely stay here again. The French bakery across the street is must!

Absolutely loved our stay at La Luz! The location is unbeatable. Literally a couple blocks from the Alamo and the River Walk. Parking next door made everything super easy but honestly, once parked, we never touched our car again. Area is super walkable and had no issues getting to where we wanted. Couldn’t ask for a better spot to explore the city! Would give 10 stars if I could. Can’t wait to come back!

The address in google is the intercontinental about a half mile away. There is no signage so if you do not have the check-in email, it is very difficult to find. Once you are in though, it is a great place and well located a block from downtown/Alamo.

Pros: Such a nice little condo. The price was great. The location was great. It’s very comfy. The rooms are separated. The AC works great. We all loved it. Cons: few minor things were broken when we got there. There wasn’t enough toilet paper. The add did leave me under the impression there was a rooftop bar to enjoy. But it’s not open yet. And the parking is $45 a night. The price is low but you got to factor that in. The cons are not enough to dock a star. It was great regardless. Will come again for sure

We had a lovely time staying here! It was very close and walkable to all of the local hot spots. We arrived on Tuesday and rented a car which isn’t necessary if you plan to stay in downtown San Antonio. Our daughters BMT grad was Wednesday and Thursday which is why we needed the car. Highly recommend doing your research on parking if you do end up needing one. Parking is very expensive(around $40-$50/day). La Luz was very nice. Had everything we needed. Our 2bd/2ba was clean, contemporary and comfortable. Bed was firm and cushy. The rooftop bar was open Thursday through Sunday in the evenings. We didn’t go, but seemed to be a good time. It is very loud in the late nights. There is a neighboring parking lot that had a lot of commotion into the early morning hours. Not the hosts fault at all, just not for the light sleepers. Host was very responsive. We would definitely stay again for the convenience and cleanliness.

I would have given La Luz 5 stars if there had not been a rooftop bar. The music sounded as if it was literally in room 1301 and lasted till 0230. The other party was in 1302 and could hear it but nothing like 1301. The location is great, the cleanliness was wonderful, and customer service was impeccable. Would stay again but would request as far opposite of these rooms i could be.
