「We had a coffee on the 1st morning but the mugs were not washed or replaced for the 2nd day & the coffee & milk not replaced.」

「Gorgeous hotel with a really quaint old world feel. Really genourous room facilities. I would have preferred a bath to a shower but I wasn’t given the option at booking. Staff all really pleasant and helpful.」

「I had a fantastic 2 night stay here. Mark was an excellent host. The breakfast was superb and the rooms are immaculate. The location is very peaceful with safe parking for vans etc. There are 2 good pubs local for evening meals etc. Overall a fantastic place and I will definitely return.」

「The room was good and very clean. The staff were helpful and let us check in early. Breakfast was very good. The corridor leading to the room was a bit tired.」

「Nice location. Everything fine. Nice to have 2 chairs in a double room, often other places only provide 1. I have no problems with anything here, but if you're looking for points for improving ratings, I'd say TV could have been bigger (couldn't really watch it from the bed in room 6), and it would have been nice to be able to help yourself to breakfast items like cereals, milk, juice.」

「Amazing break! Staff all friendly. Food in main restaurant was amazing and had a great massage at spa by Hannah. Spa was all lovely and clean and not overcrowded. The only thing was the relaxation room was not open after our massage as we chose the last session. The pastries at breakfast were not worth the calories as a bit stodgy. Other dishes were absolutely amazing. Thanks」

「We had people fighting and thumping in the too above us. Was not able to get 5 minutes sleep, eventually gave up and three thirty am and got dressed. We left by 04:30 am. I would like a refund」

「Large room. Good size bath. All very clean. Plenty of hot water. Shower gel etc very economy level. Handy for station. Buffet breakfast good drink choices. Really helpful staff went over and above when we lost something in the car park. Note. There is a parking charge (2 nights was £10). Many areas closed for refurbishment.」

「The property has no air conditioning but you can deposit for a fan if your lucky.The breakfast isn't as good as it used to be, but not too bad for the price」

「This was a great stay. A beautiful heritage property. Felicia and her Paul were fantastic hosts. We stayed with our son his wife and their 22 month old toddler. They could not have made us more welcome. Felicia was very accommodating about breakfast and other things as our son was running the Cheshire held marathon. The breakfasts were all delicious. Highly recommend this as a place to stay.」
