Dirty floor, bathroom had mold in the ceiling and shower. The room had a strong smell of cigarette and mold. The night staff careless, the phone was ringing all night and they didn’t pick up the phone, I called the hotel for 45 min and no answer. After they picked up the phone they hang up the call, had to uber to the hotel back and forth to the airport since their shuttle “ was not available “

Honestly, the towels were crusty and the room has a wet, damp smell. The people I spoke to on the phone were kind of huffy with me (when someone finally answered). It was fine for an 8 hour layover, but I wouldn't stay longer than that.

DISMAL HOTEL To some extent, this was my own doing: I was looking for a cheap option and ended up paying a high price. What I find unacceptable is the presence of misleading reviews, seemingly posted by individuals connected to the hotel, portraying it as a high-quality place when, in reality, it turned out to be the most unpleasant hotel I have ever experienced. Additionally, I noticed that every time the front desk staff recognized a reservation made through Expedia, they displayed a clearly discriminatory attitude toward the guest. I consider Expedia to be an excellent platform; however, it is unfortunately not present during the check-in process to ensure proper treatment. I am sharing this not as a complaint, since what is done cannot be undone, but rather to provide an honest reference so that future guests can make a better decision and avoid staying in a place as substandard as the Quality Inn Miami Airport – Doral in Miami, Florida. Our room was beyond filthy. There were long black strands of human hair in the sheets. The blanket was stained and torn. The TV didn’t work, and the bathroom was disgusting. The phone in the room didn’t work either, so we had to walk to the front office to speak to someone about the room. I asked to speak to a manager and was told he wasn’t there and wouldn’t be back until later in the week. I asked for a refund or a discounted rate. The clerk said only a manger could approve the refund or adjust the rate. I would have left immediately, but it was already late and the room cost too much to simply walk away from. The clerk apologized but said they couldn’t do anything because they were the only person on duty. It took two requests to finally get a decent blanket from the clerk. The next morning, I went back to the front desk to complain again. The morning clerk told me in some countries there was no running water or electricity, implying that I should be grateful for the room. When I asked if they thought it was acceptable to rent a room in that condition, they ignored the question and called me a rude individual. I even showed them my socks, which had turned black from walking on the filthy floor. My efforts to contact the booking company were unsuccessful.

Front desk staff was curt and abrupt in person and on the phone. Calling to get information about the shuttle, I was put on hold and then hung up on THREE times. Maid service was better because when I noticed multiple burnt out light bulbs in the room, a man did bring me two new light bulbs.

They canceled our reservation for 3 nights literally as we were being picked up from the airport by their own shuttle. Spring break weekend, and how could i find another hotel for 3 nights when the city is packed with tourists?! They said my credit card was declined because expedia didnt put a high enough amount on it. OUR CREDIT IS EXCELLENT. So instead of contacting me and asking, they simply cancelled the whole reservation, and then rebooked our room to someone else!!! When we got there off their shuttle, they were sold out and we were without a place to stay!!!!! We are in a strange city with no where to.go and no.way to get there!!! It ended up costing us another 850$ to find somewhere to sleep in tbat desperate day!! Very un happy and we will be contacting the BBB and our attorney about this!! Thats alot of money ane its supposed to be the 1st day lf our vacation!!

Honestly one of the worst hotels ive been to, we had to change our rooms 3 times!! These rooms have mold and mildew in the bathrooms and in the air conditioner, we got sick. The cleaning needs to be better following up with communication with staff, they are so rude on the walk in, smile more and greet your guests please. the breakfast was horrible, the time wasnt up yet and they were taking away the breakfast items, made me no longer want to eat there. The fridges were always left dirty, sheets and pillows stink, has hair on them as if it wasnt cleaned. I tried to get a refund for the rest of my stay but apparently the manger wasnt going to be there for 7 more days. what type of hotel motel business is this? The most unprofessional and nasty stay ever dont book, go somewhere else. youll have a better chance of getting a clean room at an airbnb. The only nice thing about here was the pool. The rates to stay here should not be this expensive while its kept like this. 0/5 stars honestly!! Not sure why expedia wont post my honest review ?
