The property was beautiful. We had a great view from both rooms of the ocean. The apartment was clean and in perfect condition. The communication with the host was excellent. I will definitely be coming back to this location soon.

Beautiful resort/residences with an amazing pool that gets sun all day long as opposed to it getting shady at 3:30 like other places on the beach. Great beachfront access, friendly and accommodating staff, our hosts were great even when a small issue happened. We will definitely be back!

It was terrible, elevator waiting time was extremely long always full number of elevators is not enough to accommodate units. Staff was rude and not helpful seemed to be overstretched. Check in and check out longer than the TSA line. Menu options in restaurant is very poor. Beach had limited space for the hotel literally sitting nect to each other like in the cinema and it goes back 4-5 rows. Terrible place never go there again.

Beautiful, relaxing resort

Our stay was wonderful. This hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is incredibly clean and well taken care of and our room was stunning. We only had two hiccups that can easily be avoided with better communication. One: we said in an owner residence and we’re not told to check in at the VIP Owner desk (right next to the resort desk) and instead of sending us to the desk over the woman at the desk said we must be at the wrong place and must be across the street. After lots of confusion and panic about not having a room we learned we were at the right spot and just the wrong desk. The woman was however very apologetic and both the owner and hotels.com were incredibly helpful in fixing this. Two: I had requested a crib which was not in our room and when I messaged the owner I never got a response. That was disappointing. Again this place is wonderful and I definitely recommend it, there just needs to be better communication.

Great Trip

We really enjoyed our stay. The accommodations were incredible, clean, roomy, like brand new. The service was good. The food was o.k. The elevators were pretty slow but overall I enjoyed The Hyde and will definitely return.

STAY AWAY!

I would NOT recommend staying at Hyde Hotel and Residences. The unit we stayed in was dirty. There was pubic hair on the bathroom floor, hair on shower floor, and all over the head board on the bed. I asked the front desk if we could change units or get it cleaned. They said that we could not change units because we are on the residence side and booked through a third party. I thought we were staying at a hotel when we booked through hotels.com. They also said that they could not clean the unit unless we booked house keeping 24 hours in advance and it would cost $40.00 a day. So, I walked to Walmart and bought cleaning supplies to clean the unit myself, since we were stuck with a dirty unit. There sheets also were stained and ripped. The place was run down with scratches all over the walls and light bulbs out. The pool area was windy and the hot tub was not working and slightly run down. They charge $25 for a resort fee, which is fine, but if you are going to charge this then everything should be up and running. There were record breaking cold temps during our stay and all we wanted was to use the hot tub. When asked if they would refund one of the resort fees due to the inconvenience, they said that the could not because we booked through a third party. However, they took my credit card onsite to charge for the resort fees. It felt very sheisty. I would think twice before booking here, and if you want a recommendation the Diplomat a few hotels away is worth it!

Great stay

I think overall it was a great stay. Went for a mini vaca for my bday. A bit pricey but you are staying in condo on the beach so you get what you pay for. Views from the pool area were amazing and the beach staff was attentive. Only negative thing I can think of is the elevators are a bit slow.
