Went with friends who stayed there before. Lovely, comfortable, safe. Beds super comfy. Had everything we needed including a courtyard with tables for guest to sit outside and pool. Coffee n tea. Small bar. Great 24 hr front desk and safe n mini fridge in room. Safe valet parking onsite. Had everything we needed plus great location.

This is a quaint, clean, quiet, cute little hotel that’s right in the middle of the French Quarter. It’s in an old historic building, so don’t expect pristine modern glitz and glamour, but it’s charming, the room is clean, the staff is friendly, and it could not be MORE convenient for getting around the French Quarter. Literally everything we wanted to see was easily reached by walking a few blocks, using the streetcar system, or taking a hop-on/hop-off bus. I especially loved the courtyard...

I loved everything about the hotel; the old charm, the location, and the entire staff. I also loved the size of the hotel; not huge and not too small. You don’t have to worry about the pool being crowded; I love it here. And the rooms are clean, nice and roomy. The location is excellent; waking distance to Bourbon Street, French Quarters, Deanie’s Restaurants , and everything else. You will not be disappointed.

Conveniently located and service was excellent. Only issue I had was I was told that valet parking would be an additional $48 on my bill but when I checked out I was charged $48 a day

They just reopened Dec 30th. Everything has been redone. No complaints. The staff was so friendly m. It was safe! They always had someone to buzz you in. Although this is not a complaint but if you have trouble going up stairs request a lower level room. We loved our room but after a long day of being out in New Orleans. The stairs were a killer. There is no elevators! Also the parking is first come first serve. It is a small lot. Luckily my husband and I got there early enough to get a parking...

I can honestly say I have nothing negative to report. This hotel is clean, beautiful and the staff were absolutely wonderful! The location was great, we could walk to most points of interest, so our rental car really wasn't necessary, just know they only offer valet service and it's about $40/ day for parking. However, we did take a day to drive up to Gulfport, MS which is a beautiful place.

Location is everything. You are close to delicious food, Bourbon street, good drinks and rich history. The hotel itself was clean, and the staff was so nice! I’m always nervous about affordable hotels because sometimes they don’t measure up. This one sure does! They even have a coffee shop with AMAZING coffee.

The hotel is one block over from Bourbon St and one block up from where things get going on Bourbon St. We were there off season and Bourbon St was under construction so crowds were not as large as usual. We had a room on the street side but could not hear any music or noise. In the morning there was the usual street traffic noise. Room was very large, clean and nicely appointed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. They buzz you in the hotel 24 hrs a day so it safe. Easy walk to the...

I had multiple friends stay at multiple places during my trip to New Orleans last week, but all of them were impressed when they stopped by Melrose Mansion. Absolutely beautiful, great location, and one of the best included breakfasts I have had. I definitely want to go back there.

We loved it. It was what you should expect from a Classic French Quarter establishment. The staff was what i'd describe as laid back professional. They were very attentive. The room was clean and comfortable. My wife even had a potential encounter with a door knob jiggling ghost.
I particularly enjoyed the elevator... It reminded me of Disney's Tower of Terror... in a good way.
