「Die Freundlichkeit des Hotelpersonals sticht am meisten hervor. Jedes Zimmer ist individuell gestaltet. Vor der Haustür befindet sich eine Bushaltestelle. Mit dem Bus erreicht man das Shopping- sowie das Stadtzentrum. Wir empfehlen eine Gruppenfahrkarte für den ganzen Tag (siehe Haltestellenaushang). Im Hotel wird sehr leckeres English Breakfast serviert. Aber es gibt auch Müsli, Obst, Hörnchen sowie Marmelade und Honig. 「The hotel is a striking and unusual building, very handsome, though we would have appreciated better signs - the rooms in the 400s, which had to be accessed through the library, were difficult to find when first arriving. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and we appreciated the location of the hotel, near the seafront sights (the Mary Rose museum, Nelson's flagship Victory, etc) and the ferry ports. Everything clean and well maintained.」

「Particularly if you're travelling with young kids, make sure if you book a pet-free stay you get pet-free accommodation. Dog hair everywhere in the caravan we stayed in with our 2 & 4 year old, which wasn't ideal, despite having booked pet-free. Caravan was lovely aside from that. 」

「A lovey hotel and certainly at the top end of the market, the room was lovely, the bathroom was small but modern. The free Gin is a nice touch! The spa looked special but didn’t use, however the restaurant was excellent. Would definitely return.」

「We stayed one night as part of a cycle around the Island. The beds were comfortable, room was warm , ample breakfast and good cycle storage. One shower had very poor pressure and a door that didn’t shut properly. No shampoo and conditioner, just a body gel / shampoo that I would use on hair. Basic and just fine. 」
