Great location and beautiful views. Nice staffs. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Nice area and free tram for easy access to the city. Only issue was that there was still a strong paint smell. Otherwise we were very happy with our stay.

I would absolutely not recommend Melbourne Private Apartments booked through Expedia. The MPA team paid absolutely no attention to messages through the Expedia app. They never sent check-in instructions. Their communication was absolutely terrible and their excuse was that I did not have an Aussie phone number so their system didn’t work. The apartment was bare bones and we could not use the gym or pool as short-term renters, even though those amenities were advertised. The only good things I can say are that the Docklands location was very cool and the MPA team did bring us more tissue when requested. Otherwise, a very frustrating stay.

Check-in process was atrocious... notified in advance about my time of arrival and was informed I'd be met at the office. Upon arrival, the office was shut (no one stated this before) and I was told I'd been messaged on What's app. As an international traveller not using data roaming, this didn't come through... Finally made it to the apartment - the internet needed (you guessed) mobile data to view the passcode (?!?) and instructions for aircon were for a different apartment. Very frustrating that this info couldn't have been provided in advance Also, gym access is only for residents as an induction is needed... again not as advertised Pool area is nice though and apartment had great views over the river
