Tucked along the Blue Ridge Parkway, this mountain hamlet offers scenic overlooks and access to Mabry Mill's historic water-powered gristmill. Fly fish for trout in the Dan River or browse local crafts at the numerous family-owned shops and country stores.
This is a gorgeous property right on the Blue Ridge Parkway, the owners were great and very friendly. The room was large and clean, my wife and I loved our time we spent here. We celebrated my wife’s birthday while there and Jenny helped with a cake and balloons in the room when we arrived. We will be going back soon.

Our first stay at Primland Resort was beautiful, peaceful, and fun. Our second honeymoon after 20 years was better than our first. The Service was wonderful, the food, impeccable, we had privacy, yet met many wonderful people. We will be back!

Our stay was excellent!!!! The check in was easy, fast, and friendly. The room was VERY clean and well stocked. The best part was the free breakfast. Eating area was kept clean and the food was constantly being refilled. 100% will stay again and would recommend.

This hotel is one of the cleanest I've stayed in. And it's the first hotel I've stayed in that had a night light in the bathroom. Everything about the room, hotel, and breakfast bar was great!! Would definitely stay here again!

One of our friends left their Smart watch in the room. We didn't know it at the time, but we got a call from Autumn who stated they had found the watch and would hold it at the front desk. Renewed my faith in humans! There still are honest people in the world! We greatly appreciated that!

The staff members were friendly and attentive. From the front desk to the cooking attendant, all employees were gracious. I highly recommend this Holiday Inn to those seeking a surprisingly pleasant experience for a hotel stay.

This was by far the most amazing place we have stayed for the price. The room was very big and open and clean clean clean. The overall place was very clean bathroom, bedding, ect. The owners called us the day we were to arrive to make sure we knew how to find them and to make sure the room heat was on in plenty of time for our stay. They are off the main road but not that far. We did not have any noise from the interstate but we were close enough not to notice the short hope back to the...

Was pleasantly surprised that our room was so clean. Have had bad Quality Inns in some states. Our room looked like it had been recently redone. Walls, ceilings, carpet all looked fresh and clean. Spent only one night, so don't know much about the area. Breakfast was fine, too.
