I had such a wonderful time and she made my birthday so special. It’s such a great location and such a beautiful and historical hotel. I would recommend to everyone to visit. "My husband and I always stay at this Lil motel when we come to Galveston it might not be the best of the best but it’s the best for us because basically all we do is sleep and shower there we’re gone most of the other time. It’s great for a couple right across from the seawall right down from pleasure pier plenty of food choices around so for the people that has to have something fancy it’s not for you. But it’s perfect for my husband and I."

"It is a good value although the property is pretty dated. Like many of the buildings in Gal Island it is probably from the 1920's. We did like the pool setup but we were not sure how clean it was as the water is hazy. Within walking distance of the beach and lots of cool attractions. Room was big bathroom was tiny. We stayed in room 7. Our patio view caught a little of the ocean. Expect older and worn not new and shiny. Enjoy the nostalgia!"
