「Hung up in unbelievable traffic in Santa Cruz, I was not able to check into the hotel until 7 AM the next day when they reopened. So I don't have the overnight experience one expects. That said, the room was very clean, the shower had good hot water, and I did get a morning nap on the bed. Fort7nately, it is off the road a bit. But noise carries and young Costa Ricans love their motorcycles. So if you are super noise sensitive that might bother you, but the traffic is really light on that...

「Unsure what makes this an eco retreat aside from the fact they ask you to bring your own water bottle to refill with water they provide and there is no hot water for showers. The property has a lot of potential but it felt maybe slightly neglected. There was a lot of debris on the ground, the kitchen area was really dirty and the room had rusty racks and shower curtains that allowed water to spray out all over the floor. 「Stayed between Dec 17-23 in the studio apartment with my daughter. Great place! Close to everything. Very clean. Great pool/deck area. Customer service via WhatsApp and in person was easy. They booked our excursions and helped with local reccomendations. Has only 9 units so it’s quiet. Beach is a 3 min walk. Grocery is 5 min walk. Great bakery a minute away. We will stay here again. 」
