「We had the most wonderful stay here for 3 days over easter. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, every part of it is carefully thought out. The decor is gorgeous, rooms spacious with lovely high ceilings and it is immaculately clean. The grounds are stunning, service and staff exceptional, i cannot think of one negative thing about our stay. 「Great place. We had a spacious suite with a nice river view. Close to a river walk which takes you all the way to the 1st big lock on the Douro. Breakfast came in a box to your room every morning with fresh bread, pastries, cheese, ham, orange juice & coffee. Kitchen was also well equipped. We would definitely stay there again.」

「This hotel is located right on the Douro, in a picturesque spot. There's a parking area right outside. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel claims to be four star; it may have been once but it no longer is. The rooms are spartan. A 20" tv from the 2000s. No amenities whatsoever in the bathroom, which had a broken wall shower and between one and three lights randomly working, depending on I know what. I had to move furniture to find the only single wall outlet close to the bed....

「Wir hatten einen angenehmen Aufenthalt im Hotel. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und das Personal war immer höflich und zuvorkommend. Im Ort gibt es ein Freibad und genügend Parkplätze.」

「The staff was super nice and friendly but the hotel needs to invest and improve the rooms and hallways. My air conditioning smell terrible and was getting me sick to the point I had to complaint and they came and cleaned it so it probably wasn’t clean for who know how long. The carpet at the room are terrible and smell moldy and the lighting in the hallways is terrible. If they upgrade these things this place would be a place I have return for sure.」
