"Very nice hotel in good central position with comfortable beds, good food and its own car park, spoiled for me by the rock-hard pillows in both the rooms we stayed in on two separate nights. I asked at Reception if it was possible to get a softer one, but, was told that they were 'all the same'. They were issued centrally by the Group and the individual hotel was powerless to change them. As a result I had two nights of very poor sleep. I have now cancelled my booking for next month and will make other arrangements. Great shame. Ships and tar I'm afraid."

"Clean, comfortable with a decent pub, you get a 20% discount on food which makes it very good value for supper. East parking, quiet location, nice water location, decent breakfast and good value, hard to see any downsides."

"We had a lovely weekend at this hotel and spa and overall really enjoyed our stay. The amenities were very good and provided everything we needed for a relaxing break. The staff were excellent throughout—friendly, attentive and welcoming, which really added to the experience. The location was also a highlight. The nearby village was lovely to explore, and there was a nice little walk close by, which was perfect for getting out and enjoying the surroundings. The only real disappointment was the food. Unfortunately, it didn’t quite live up to the rest of the experience and did let the weekend down a little. With a better dining experience, this would have been a fantastic stay from start to finish. Overall, though, we had a very enjoyable and relaxing weekend and would happily consider returning."
