「This hotel is under construction. Our rooms windows were covered outside (no view whatsoever) as they were actively jack hammering out front of the hotel by 8am. Down the hall a crew was active daily, so if you want to book a stay, be ready for some construction activity all around you. It's a beautiful old hotel in need of renovation, but unless you enjoy being in the middle, I'd book elsewhere in Manitou Springs until they finish the job.」

「Breakfast was nothing to write home about. Typical “gray” food found in any budget friendly hotel, but there was a terrific diner 1/2 block away. Laminate floors looked clean, but we spilled a large cup of water and moping it up proved they were not really very clean! Didn’t use the hot tub. Staff was fun and helpful」

「The place is like you would expect from a "Quality" Inn. Rooms are scarsely decorated and the walls are paper thin so you hope to have no neighbours or at least very quiet ones. Doors shut noisily and no one seems to have learned middle of the night or early morning etiquette to be quiet and hold doors so they don't slam.
